Travelling from the Worthing direction to Bognor Lawn Tennis Club:
From Worthing continue along the A27, past Arundel (towards Chichester) until you reach the Fontwell roundabout. Take the second exit, signposted "Bognor Regis" (A29). Follow the A29 through Westergate and you will eventually (1-2 miles) reach the outskirts of Bognor. You will go along a dual carriageway that passes Lec on the left and Tesco on the right. Go straight across the first roundabout after you pass Tesco. At the next (large) *roundabout* take the fourth exit, signposted "Chichester" (A259). Take the third road on the left (Hawthorn Road) - just before the pelican crossing. Continue up Hawthorn Road, straight on at the traffic lights, past a largish Co-op on the right. Then turn left into Nyewood Lane, just before a fenced playing field with a post box on the corner. The Tennis Club is about 200 yards up Nyewood Lane on the right. There is a long low building which is the Arun Indoor Bowls Club - you should park in the car park alongside this building and then go to the far end of the building and around the corner to find the tennis courts.
Travelling from the Littlehampton direction to Bognor Lawn Tennis Club:
Drive through Littlehampton on the A259. Continue on this road, which will take you through Felpham. If you continue straight along this road you will eventually (1-2 miles after entering the built up area) come to the Butlins’ roundabout (you will see the white covered roof construction as you approach). Take the third exit and go to the next roundabout – this is the Hotham Park roundabout.
If you go right here and continue you will go over the fly over and come to the same large *roundabout* as above. This time you will need to take the third exit, then proceed as above.
If you go left at the Hotham Park roundabout you will should then take the first exit at the next mini roundabout. After a right turn at the end this will take you along the sea front. Continue along this road until you reach the traffic lights in Aldwick (by the shops). Go straight on, then take the second right into Nyewood Lane. Drive for about half a mile along this road and look out for the Bognor Football Club, then the grass tennis courts and the long low building (Arun Indoor Bowls Club) on your left. Turn in just after the long low building, park in the car park alongside this building and then go to the far end of the building and around the corner to find the tennis courts.
